Biomechanics & Performance Science
The SG-996 supports linear and multi-directional resistance training, allowing athletes to train using real sport-specific movement patterns.
Key Biomechanical Benefits
• Improved acceleration and horizontal force production
• Enhanced eccentric control during deceleration
• Increased neuromuscular coordination
• Reduced joint stress compared to elastic or weight-based systems
Primary muscle groups activated:
Gluteals, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, and core stabilisers.
Performance Measurement & Analysis
The integrated display provides objective performance metrics, enabling coaches and athletes to:
• Monitor peak and average power output
• Track training load and progression
• Assess movement quality and symmetry
• Support data-driven training decisions
This makes the SG-996 ideal for performance diagnostics and scientific monitoring.
Coaching & Rehabilitation Use
The controlled magnetic resistance allows safe and effective use in:
• Sprint acceleration training
• Change-of-direction drills
• Power development sessions
• Return-to-play and rehabilitation protocols
Its smooth resistance profile minimises injury risk while maintaining high training effectiveness.
